Pradeline Delinois was found unresponsive in the 5100 block of Cumberland Street on Aug. 18, according to Prince George's County police.
Delinois was rushed to a hospital in Washington DC, where she was pronounced dead a short time later, officials said.
An autopsy revealed that Delinois was killed by blunt force trauma, and police have ruled her death a homicide.
The Prince George’s County Police Department investigates all homicides in the town of Capitol Heights, according to authorities.
